This is what I learned after gradually switching to a lifestyle that embraces a balance between screen time and outdoor activities.
I lived in Hanoi for 6 years and usually felt that something was missing in the hustle and bustle of the crowded city. Now I realise that it’s because I was quite a lazy student those days, being overwhelmed by the limited view of buildings and lacking contact with nature.
Things have gradually changed since I moved to Helsinki. Finland was five times crowned the happiest country in the world by the United Nations and now I know there is one contributing reason: The lifestyle surrounded by Nature.
Finland has been well preserving its natural landscapes. The cities are green; forests and lakes are clean without plastic bags and signs of pollution; residents love staying close to nature.
I learned from that, started some outdoor hobbies and appreciated Mother Nature. My life has changed a bit since then
